Look what they are making me do ... all that silicone ... dad are you proud? We will be tiling part of the kitchen walls next. I like it here at the base, people don't just do things for you, they teach you how to do it yourself.
Apart from fixing the shower we have been having a very busy week with staff training. All the staff on the base are involved and we have been meeting for 3 hours everyday this week. It is good to see and hear the vision of the base and the passion of the base leaders.
In the afternoons we have been doing preparation work for the DTS, which for me has meant learning how to do the accounting - scary (they trust me with the whole budget!) but a good skill to learn.
This weekend we will be heading into the city to check out the night life. On the DTS we will be doing a bit of evangelism in the city so we are gonna check out where the youth are and what they do. So busy, busy, busy for the next week and a half before the students arrive.
