Shops, people and shops! Tromsø! I didn't quite know what to do with myself when I was suddenly surrounded by lots of people and of course shops.

The DTS went into Tromsø for a weeks teaching on Evangelism, when we arrived at the church where we were to stay, we found that we were locked out and couldn't get in touch with the pastor to let us in so....
We waited...and waited, for about an hour. As we had all our mattresses and bags with us and were standing outside the inner city church we attracted some strange looks from the passers by.
We were very blessed to stay in the church, in good ol' YWAM style.
We had lectures on evangelism in the university in the mornings and then our teacher practiced what he preached in the cafeteria. He was encouraging people to come to a public lecture he was giving at the end of the week on "If God is good why is there so much evil in the world?" We all handed out invitations to the students who stopped. It was quite a successful week!
At the end of a week of lectures and evangelism and participating in church meetings, I was quite happy to return home. And on the day before we left we found a store that was having a closing down sale, we could fill up a plastic bag with anything in the shop and it was only $20. The store was kind of like The Warehouse, so I got lots of things for the house! I am so happy to have some things that I own, they are really mine! ... Like this below.... it is one of my favorites, and oh so practical...
Gotta love a bargain!!
Now I just have to show you some photos of autumn. The colours are so amazing, well now the leaves are starting to fall but they were breath taking!
And one last story for this post. The kitchen in our house wasn't quite finished when we moved in and our base leader (yes the King of Norway - see previous post) asked if any of has any experience tiling. Non of us did so he said "great, then you can do the kitchen!" With about a 5 min description of how to put up the tiles he let us go for it. So far so good, will let you know how it turn out.
