This year we decided that we would like our team to appear more unified, especially when out in the street so we have come up with a team uniform. As you can see there is a bit of distinction between staff and students which we also thought was a good thing.
There have been two big things on my mind the past month, the first was my visa to work in Norway. But a quick down to the local police station and a lot of money later I now have another 1 year visa.
The second thing is my drivers license. Because I have been in Norway for over 1 year I have to sit a practical driving test to continue to drive here. The test will be in Norwegian…argggg…. and in late November when the roads are all covered in snow and ice!! I have been getting in lots of driving time which is great and getting to dirve a variety of cars. The best by far is the old Volts Wagon the base was given. I don’t have a pic of the outside of it yet but here is the steering wheel and the duct tape that holds the whole interior together. And in case repairs are needed on the road there is a roll of duct tape in the glove box!!! But it is a really nice van to drive.
Note the size of the steering wheel! and the duct tape on the left.

Hope you are having a great time in Finland. We are going off base soon (like in a week) to Roma, which will be HEAPS hotter than here!
So far i'm loving dts, and things can only get better - and worse! I'm sure the really hard stuff hasn't even begun yet.
Righty ho, take care Becca Weka,

Thank you, Bex. I like hunting with you, we should go some other time too. But then we should bring our boots and you can bring your gun. Have to hurry, the huntingseason is soon over.
