This is the ice skating rink here at Borgen - sadly now that I have the time to use it the ice had started to melt :(
But there has been plenty more winter fun to be had... Here are instructions for a successful snow scooter trip (this trip was in Finland at our base leaders cabin).
First you must have stunning beautiful scenery ... check
Second, stunning beautiful girls... check (me on the left and Hanna on the right)
Third, overload snow scooter ... check - we had 2 adults and a child on the front, three adults in the sled being towed along and one adult skiing along behind.
Fourth (and most important), get snow scooter stuck in the melting snow on the lake ... check
Fifth, leave the two boys to get it out ... check
Sixth, crawl to safety over the melting snow ... check
Seventh, go back to the boys with girl power to help get snow scooter out ... check
We all had a great time even though most had boots full of water which then froze on the way back (only on the outside)and we had trouble getting them off.
I have also been doing some of that work like stuff...

By the way, I forgot to tell you. I did look for the eastereggs. My mum looked for them as well when we were still up at Borgen. But they were no eggs to find. I think they may stop sell them when easter starts - and that happened to be when we came to Borgen. Lets do better next year ;)
