Long over due photos

Ok so these photos should have been put up a very long time ago, sorry.
Here are some form outreach...
In the first photo people are selling animal body parts that are used in curses and such like, the second is on the bus we took for the 13 hour trip to Douentza and the third picture is typical a typical Malian toilet.
Douentza is a strange place, it feel like you have stepped back in time with people riding donkeys, cattle all over the street and people drawing water from the well. Everything you do takes a long time, here i am roasting and grinding peanuts to make peanut butter.

This is 'Mitch' the guardian of our property taking out my braids, strangely enough he was very efficient at getting them out.

Some of the boys we worked with. I love the last one, they are dressed in rags but still have style!

This is our team at the conference in Timbuktu, look how brown we are! We built the whole hanger from scratch -not an easy job in sand, we even has to make the drum sticks for the band, needless to say they weren't the best quality (due to the wood not the craftsmanship).

In the first photo we are cleaning rice for the conference and the second photo is of two of the boys from the African DTS that stayed with us, a great bunch of people.
