Mexico

Heloooooo. I am back!
A lot has happened since 2009 when I last posted something on here but I will try and sum up in a sentence or two in case you missed where I was and what I was doing... I spent Christmas 2009 in Paris with my friends family and then I spent the better part of 2010 in Paris studying French. I have decided to continue working with YWAM in Mali ad for that I need to speak French, so France it was. I had a brief trip back to Mali and also Burkina Faso in September and then I went home to New Zealand for my first Christmas at home in 6 years!!! I had a great 3 months with family and friends in Wellington and now ....

I am in Tijuana Mexico doing a Children at Risk school with YWAM. Here is brief intro to the school
The focus is on children at risk such as orphans, street children, the handicapped and the abused. We will look at God's heart for justice, defending the cause of the fatherless, rescuing the poor, the weak and the oppressed, and we will also be working in the red light district of Tijuana through out the teaching phase to put into practice what we learn.

As part of this school I will do weekly posts about what I am learning and my thoughts and emotions around that. I will also be posting on the other two pages on here "risks children face" and "kids in the news today." Please feel free to comment, share your thoughts and ask questions about the things I post.

I am looking forward to sharing these things with you.
